Hi! Welcome to Two Deep. We’re glad you’re here, and we hope you come back! We plan to keep this project going for a good long time.
What is this project, you may ask? It’s basically this – a daily photoblog done by two photographers, with side by side photos, one from each of us. We aren’t collaborating on the content of the photos for any given day – instead, part of the fun of the project is seeing what kinds of connections can be drawn between almost any two of our photos. We each choose that day’s photo independently, then post them together. We are women with many similarities (we are both lawyers with a passion for photography and we are both building photography businesses), but also with many differences (Jessamyn is a married mother of two and Nicole is a single woman with no children; Jessamyn lives in Chicago and Nicole lives in a much smaller town in Ohio). We think that our differences, and how those differences shape our art, will add depth to this project.
We’re excited to be here and to see how this project develops over time. We’re glad you joined us.
